Great Globaloria Class

I currently have 17 students. One of my students has not shown up for school. Supposedly, she's on vacation and may show up next week or the following week. Since she was signed up for the class and did not request it, I am removing her from my class and adding two new students. Then I will have 18 students - 8 boys and 10 girls I really like the students that are in my class. They're just a great group of kids, and I look forward to my class everyday.

GMail Account Frustration

When my students went to set up their gmail accounts today, they were denied. When I researched it, they have to be 13 years or older to create a gmail account. My students are in the 7th grade and are currently 12 years old. Of course, by the time I searched and found out the reason that they could not set up their gmail account, it was time for class to be over. Tomorrow, we will create our gmail accounts and use 1996 as their birthdate.

Globaloria is "An Online Social Network for Playing and Making Games." It is where "students and educators learn how to play and create their own web-games, produce wikis, publish blogs, and openly share and exchange ideas, game code, questions and progress using the latest digital communication technology."
