Character Impacts Health:

Today, more than half the factors that influence health are related directly to personal lifestyle choices and behaviors. As part of a comprehensive approach to offer programs to improve health in the community, Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa, is delivering character education and training throughout the city to citizens of all ages and backgrounds.
According to Trinity's Board of Directors, "As they weighed factors impacting health, the board became convinced that familiarity with the pillars of character would lead to better decisions on big health issues, as well as seemingly simple health concerns
. Their mission is to deliver the good news that many chronic diseases can be prevented, delayed or alleviated by making responsible choices for a healthy lifestyle, treating your body with respect and making good life choices. "Our goal is to bring character education to every person in Fort Dodge. If people adopt these pillars, the overall well-being of our residents and the community will be enhanced."

I believe a game concerning The Six Pillars of Character would be a fun game for students.

What do you think? Have you any ideas on how the game could work? Remember the game has to be fun, but educational. Any ideas?

"Character is what you do when no one is looking."
